Cleaning the rain gauge
You may find THIS VIDEO useful- Check that the filter in the pot (aka funnel or collector) is not clogged:
- Check that mechanism (bucket) tips over smoothly;
- Make sure the bucket is properly cleaned;
Dirt disrupts the sensor calibration!
Preparing the rain gauge for the test
- Make sure the pot is leveled;
The pot has a bubble for the visual indication of the level. If it has already dried, you can use a plumb line.Testing the rain gauge

If the sensor is not accurate, you can re-calibrate it. To do so, please, visit CALIBRATING AND TESTING - RAIN GAUGE
